Supported Return to Training.
Seadog was commissioned to produce a series of films and an app to support doctors returning to training after a period of absence of three months or more – whether for maternity/paternity, research, bereavement or sickness leave.
Unfortunately, doctors and dentists who are Returning to Training from an extended period of absence have difficulty obtaining the necessary support and information to relieve potentially stressful situations and provide confidence in their abilities.
In a bid to mitigate this impact, the NHS University Hospitals Bristol Foundation Trust were granted funds to develop an app to act as a hub for all support resources, and for a series of supporting films – in stepped Seadog.
THE FILMS.
Each film features real doctors who have experienced returning to training – the good, the bad and the unexpected. It is hoped that they will show trainees that they are not alone, and that help is out there.
The aim for each film was to be engaging, contemporary and shareable – without ever feeling corporate.
